Silane Modified Polyether (DmcSeal S250)
Description
DmcSeal S250 is a silane-modified resin terminated with trimethoxysilane based on high molecular weight polyether.It has the characteristics of moderate viscosity, high activity, no free isocyanate, no solvent, and excellent bonding performance.
The curing mechanism of DmcSeal S250 is moisture curing. It is necessary to add catalyst in the sealant formulation. Ordinary organotin catalysts (such as dibutyltin dilaurate) or chelated tin (such as diacetylacetonate dibutyltin) can both achieve good mechanical properties. The recommended addition amount of chelated tin is 0.05-0.08%.
DmcSeal S250 resin, combined with plasticizer, nano calcium carbonate, silane coupling agent and other fillers and additives, can be used to prepare sealant products with tensile strength 1.0-3.5MPa, 100% modulus 0.3-2.0MPa, and elastic recovery rate >70%. It can also be used to prepare transparent sealant. It is widely used in building exterior wall, home decoration, industrial elastic sealant, elastic adhesive and so on.

Storage Condition
Store in a cool place, sealed and stored at room temperature without opening.
