DIMONDS® B1895 Blend Polyols for Continuous PU Block Foam used for LNG Ship
Description
DIMONDS® B1895 is a compounded polyether polyol developed for continuous production of fiber reinforced block PU foam for cryogenic application. It is developed using HFC-245fa as blowing agent which contains polyether polyol, silicone surfactant, catalysts and water etc,. The foam can be applied for chemical industry, petrochemical fields ,LNG, LPG etc.

It is recommended to utilize high pressure foaming machinery. The chemicals should be adjusted to the correct temperature between 17-23℃ to ensure reactivity and viscosity suitable for processing.
The mixing pressure has to be set for both components at 120-150 bar.
The mould temperature recommended is 40-45℃ to guarantee good foam performances.

The above testing data have been generated in lab or field conditions which are typical for this application. They are believed to be correct but data variations due to varying processing or ambient conditions can not be excluded. The customer remains responsible for making his own interpretation of data and suitability of the chemicals to his particular operation.
Handling and Storage
220kg/drum or 1000kg/IBC for DIMONDS® 1895 and 250kg/drum for DIMONDS® ISO1800.
DIMONDS® B1895 should be protected from moisture by keeping containers sealed when not in use. Drums /IBCs have to be stored indoors to protect the material from water ingress, frost and direct heat from the sun. Under temperature conditions and in properly sealed containers ,the storage life of the polyol is 6 months and 12months for isocyanate. The optimum storage temperature should be 10-35℃.
